TCKs for Christ

TCKs for Christ is a non-profit publishing project aiming to encourage Christian third culture kids through articles, interviews, and monthly emails.

Web copy: Short, concise, informational, educational. The goals was to clearly communicate TCKs for Christ‘s brand identity and mission. Wherever possible and necessary, I included details to define the term “TCK” and explain the TCK experience. At the same time, I made sure that headings, subheadings, body copy, and button text all lead the user to further explore the site.

Email copy: Friendly, conversational, inviting. I carefully wrote the welcome emails to introduce the ministry and encourage the readers to get to know the who, what, and why behind the messages.

Subscribers will walk away with a clear idea of who they’re following, what they’ll get, and the mission of TCKs for Christ.

Their eyes will also be blessed by the beautiful design.

Social Copy

The TCKs for Christ Instagram account is an important channel for connecting with the audience. Quick, simple, helpful, beautiful. Each post is meant to be aesthetically pleasing, encouraging, and relevant to the TCK life. There’s a careful balance between posting useful content and promotional posts that lead to published articles.

Approach:

The aim was to make the captions quick and easy to read, so

  • The captions are fairly short and skimmable.

  • They begin with an engaging line to capture the reader’s attention.

  • Body text quickly sums up the content of the post.

  • The tone is friendly and informational.

  • CTAs and questions are used to promote engagement.
